This is what four NGOs propose in a letter to the Supreme Judicial Council. The SJC should маke inquiries in the prosecution office whether there are preliminary proceedings against the candidates for chief positions in the judiciary and their relatives.
In regard to the Primorsko case the letter states that the Council should request the results from the prosecutorial check up concerning the cease of the procedure in 2007, to announce to the public the reasons for the cease of the check and to assess whether the prosecution office had really carried out a full and objective investigation. Futhermore, the SJC should state whether the prosecutor who ordered the cease of the case hasd violated disciplinary regulations.
