Mediapool.bg: Criminal Judges from the Sofia City Court: The Check - up of the Inspectorate to the SJC is Brought to Perfunctory Conclusions

The judges had entered a caveat to the Chief Inspector of the ISJC with a request for additional "circumstantial and thorough inspection of their work" since the number, the nature and the complexity of their cases are not taken into cinsideration.

Three of the judges who were proposed by the Inspectorate for awards refused to be honoured.

Two days ago Anna Karaivanova "distinguished" on the BNR three inspected magistrates who didn't have backlogs of cases and didn't spread their "ideas, wails etc. on the Media". This statement provoked the trenchant position of the Bulgarian Helsinki Committee which announced its official statement in regard to yet another tension escalation among the magistrates.
