The Bulgarian Institute for Legal Initiatives (BILI) is a non-partisan independent NGO working to promote the Rule of Law. The Institute advocates reform in Bulgarian judiciary and the adoption of international best practices.
The Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) requests from the administration office of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria to provide information on the existence of a decree, issued during the second mandate of Mr. Purvanov, by which the vice-president Mr Angel Marin is empowered to decree the acquisition and deprivation of Bulgarian citizenship and to exercise the right to pardon.
In case there is no such decree issued during that period, the court insists on an explicit statement in that regard.
