Upcoming Judicial Elections

Tomorrow, Thursday 19th, the Supreme Judicial Council is about to perform another important elections in the judiciary – election of President of District Court Kula and election of President  of  District Court Haskovo. 

District Court Kula is a relatively small court, currently at the institution is working only one judge –  Petar Jhivkov. He is performing the duties of a Court President while being a candidate for the position. The other candidate is judge Tsvetelina Kurjeva-Teneva. At present she is working at District Court Belogradchik, but seconded at District Court Vidin. 

Judge Maria Angelova, performing the duties of a Court President at Haskovo District Court and prosecutor Margarit Kamburov (Svilengrad District Prosecution Office) are candidates for the respective leading position.
During the profiles preparation process BILI managed to establish feedback with all four candidates.
