Last Data on the Upcoming Judicial Elections

The Supreme Judicial Council had to elect President of District Court Kula last week during its hearing on January 24, 2013. However, none of the two candidates for the office received the necessary 13 votes in his favor for a second time. The court at Kula is one of the smallest in the country. At present there is only one judge practicing in the institution – Judge Petar Jhivkov, who is one of the candidates. The other candidate Tsvetelina Kurjeva-Teneva, judge at District Court Belogradchik, but seconded at District Court Vidin.

Tomorrow the Council is electing President of District Court Gorna Oriahovitsa. The only candidate is the current court President – Judge Pavlina Toneva Borisova. All profiles of the candidates are published on judicialprofiles.bg
