Legalworld.bg: Grozdan Iliev Took an Oath as a Constitutional Court Justice

Today the newly elected member of the Constitutional Court by the parliamentary quota, Grozdan Iliev, took his oath. The ceremony was attended by the President Rosen Plevneliev, the Chair of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva, the Presidents of the Supreme Court of Cassation and the Supreme Administrative Court and of course the Constitutional Court justices. “I swear to follow earnestly my duties imposed by the Constitution and the Constitutional Court Act.”, vowed Mr Iliev.

The Chair of the Constitutional Court himself is expected to be elected by its members next week. Therefore, after a five-month intermission the Court will actually start working. During these five months six new proceedings were composed.
