Bilyana Gyaurova-Wegertseder
is one of BILI’s founding members and currently the Chair of BILI’s Managing Board. Attorney-at-Law since 1999, registered mediator since 2006. Bilyana holds an M.A. in Law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridsky. As a former Senior Staff Attorney with ABA/CEELI she managed grants and worked extensively on projects related to alternative dispute resolution especially mediation and legal education reform. Bilyana is also a member of the Managing Board of the National Association of Mediators and a member of the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA).E-mail: bilyana@bili-bg.org
Todor Dotchev
is one of BILI’s founding members and currently a member of BILI’s Managing Board. Attorney-at-Law since 2002, registered mediator since 2006. Todor holds an M.A. in Law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridsky, Bulgaria and an LL.M. in Public International Law from Leiden University, the Netherlands. As a former Staff Attorney with ABA/CEELI he has worked extensively on projects related to legal education reform and Bar development. Hristo Ivanov
a member of BILI’s Managing Board since 2007, is an attorney with background in Rule of Law reform, international development and the NGO sector. Through that he has gained experience in advocacy for reform, comparative law and organizational development. In 1996 he joined the ABA/CEELI team in Sofia and between 1998 and 2002 served as a Staff Attorney administering projects related to judicial reform, legislative process reform, good governance and commercial law.As a private attorney since 2002 Hristo has been advising legal reform projects, international donor organizations, NGOs and private businesses. On occasion he has been undertaking human rights cases. In that period he continued collaborating with ABA/CEELI and, among others, was consulting the 2006 issues of the Judicial Reform Index and the Legal Profession Index. Hristo graduated from the Law School of the Sofia University “St Climent Ochridski” in 1998 and has attended a number of international law training programs. He is currently earning a PHD in philosophy of law with the Institute for Philosophical Research of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and is active with the Bulgarian Academic Centre for Socio-Legal Research.

Yordanka Mincheva

Maya Kirilova
is a legal assistant with BILI since the beginning of 2008. Student of law in Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Her interests are directed towards the Bulgarian Judicial system reform and particularly towards the legal education reform as a necessary precondition for its successful realization. Marc Lassman
is a former ABA/CEELI Country Director for Bulgaria and one of BILI’s founding members. Marc’s contribution for the creation of BILI was invaluable. He provided support, understanding, expertise and a wealth of knowledge that was highly appreciated by all members of our team. Currently Marc is managing ABA/CEELI’s office in Russia.
